Dartford Football Club

Dartford Football Club was founded back in 1888 and currently participates in the sixth tier of English football; the National League South. In more recent years, 2006 saw the brand-new and environmentally-friendly stadium, Princes Park, open for fans from both near and afar to join and cheer on Dartford F.C. When the first game in the new stadium finally arrived, the crowd hit capacity with all 4,100 tickets selling out within three weeks.

Originally founded by the Working Men's Club, Dartford F.C. lost its original ground at Watling Street in 1992.

The next 14 years saw the club come back into the borough, with the help of Dartford Borough Council.

Princes Park is the centre of the community in Dartford and is open to the public for multiple events and sports throughout the year.
