Central Park

One of the most loved areas of Dartford, Central Park covers 26 acres of land and is used for various community events throughout the year, including the highly-anticipated Dartford Festival and a range of fantastic outdoor theatre shows. The River Darent runs along the eastern boundary of the park with Brooklands Lakes nearby too, which are ideal locations for fisherman and those interested in bats and mushrooms. With over 45,000 plants planted each summer, Central Park offers truly spectacular views, surroundings and fun all year through.

Dartford's Remembrance Service is a heart-warming community event hosted by Dartford Council in Central Park every year on Remembrance Sunday.

From veterans to local scouts, the ceremony brings together the people of Dartford to remember those who sacrificed their lives, and those who continue to do so.
